My new car

A few months ago I was in a car wreck (partly explaining my absence on this blog from April until July).  My poor Prius, with well over 200k miles on it, was totaled.  So I had to jump back into the car market.

For various reasons, I ended up buying another Ford hybrid vehicle, a 2012 Fusion.  While not reaching the 52mpg I got with the Prius, I've been getting a respectable 42mpg as well as more oomph when I accelerate.

As I mentioned last year when talking about my Ford Escape hybrid, this car has Sync in it.  But it has even more software and nifty tricks, including a ridiculously cool rain sensor windshield.  Can you just imagine how much testing all this stuff has to go through?

Whoa, a car accident? Hope you weren’t injured! Sorry to hear about your Prius getting totaled. Let’s just be thankful that no other lives were lost other than that of the car’s. Your new car looks totally ready to fill the Prius’ shoes, though. I can just imagine how much test-driving was done on this new car with all the software it’s got!

Although what happened to your Prius was pretty sad, at least it was replaced by another dependable car, which is the Fusion. Not only is the windshield cool; there are other features that are amazing as well, like a more efficient regenerative braking system and eco-friendly cloth seats on the interior. I'm sure your old car will also be happy now that you found a reliable successor.

No one was injured in the wreck - my airbag didn't even go off. It was just one of those wet road, no fault accidents.

My Prius went over 200k miles without ever needing any brake work (pads or rotors). Regenerative braking in action. I hope I get similar results from the Fusion.

Oh, yeah. I can imagine that! I've accompanied a friend when she bought a similar car before and she had to ask many stuff to the salesman. I'm glad she was satisfied with it. I bet you also are! How's this car now?

This new car of yours looks great! Fusion is great because it has accommodating interior, smooth ride and is embraced with all the great tech features. I hope you’ll find it more functional and with even better performance than your old Prius.

So, how much test driving do you think was done for this car? Haha! And how much test driving did you end up doing, too? I’m pretty sure with all the cool stuff in it, you’re really enjoying the car despite the differences from your Prius. The automatic wipers are really cool. That’ll help you keep your concentration on driving carefully through the rain instead of having to divide your attention between the wheel and the wiper controls.

A Prius is cool! That’s our first family car and I love it. Oh well, I’ll just have to congratulate you with your new car! :D Fusion is also a nice car. It has awesome modern features, right? I hope you’re more than satisfied with your new purchase. ;)

So how are you? Are you and your 2012 Fusion having fun while driving down the road? :) We have the same car, though it is three months older than yours. Hehe! I drove it a lot and it has been running flawlessly, which I really like. Congrats again on your new car!

The entire test done for this car will definitely do you well, Greg. Actually, it’s a good thing to do different tests, and ask relevant inquiries before buying a car. It can merely save you from the horror of buying a fraudulent one. Congrats on your new Ford Fusion, Greg! =]

You are right, Simon! Test driving is one of the essential part of the process of getting inquiries and acquiring information. I’m sure that before you test drive, you already know why you chose to buy that car. You’ll know soon enough if you really want to buy this car, especially so if you feel comfortable while taking it out on a test drive. Sometimes, intuition will be able to tell if you are satisfied with something. A test drive will let you determine if you love the car, and if you really enjoy driving it.

:( I'm sorry about what happened to your Prius, Greg. I'd be crazy if that happened to me. Fortunately, I haven't experienced any car wreck. Anyway, congratulations on your new 2012 Ford Fusion. The concept of the 2012 Ford Fusion has a little touch of Ford 427. Fusion's popularity has increased since it was manufactured in 2006. Well, it's easy to see why Fusion became so popular - it has a smart design and it looks a little aggressive with its thick-barred grille and squat tail lamps.

Oh my. I'm sorry about the car wreck, Greg. Prius is quite a classy car - what a loss. May I ask what actually happened back there? If I'm not mistaken, most car wreck cases today are due to texting or calling while driving. I hope you don't do that because talking on a cell phone, or texting while driving, increases a person's chance of being involved in an accident. :)
